That being said, the surf industry during the colder months may take a bit of a dip, the winter months bring more consistent waves and less crowds.

Technically speaking the best surf in these locations are during the colder months where more frequent light offshore winds grace the coastlines alongside strong ocean storm systems. Tofino, the surfing hub of Canada, experiences very cold conditions in the winter months and acts as a great crowd cutter.
